Phosphonic Acid in Plant-Based Food and Feed Products – Pesticide Residue or Natural Compound?

Provisional program

  • 10.00-10.05 Introduction – Bavo van den Idsert (OPTA Europe)
  • 10.05-10.45 Presentation Scientific article on Phosphonic Acid – Werner Nader (Eurofins)
  • 10.45-11.20 Q&A for members and stakeholders
  • 11.20-11.30 Conclusions and next actions

What about?
Werner Nader is for over two years working on the theory of natural appearance of Phosphonic Acid in organic (and conventional) plant-based food and feed. For his theory he was able to use anonymized data from the Eurofins database to check his theory with a large number of PA findings in many different crops. This data research has strengthened the belief in his theory that PA findings can easily occur by natural cause. In the workshop he will present the article, that actually is under peer-review by a scientific magazine.

For who?
This webinar is exclusively for members of AöL, BioNederland and OPTA Europe, together with a selected number of representatives of CB’s (EOCC board members and Skal).
The webinar is a must for all quality managers who deal with residue findings in the company.
